Utility Suppliers (TDU)
Providers create plan prices based on service area. Service areas are broken up by “Utility Suppliers,” more formally known as Transmission and Distribution Utilities, or TDUs. Utility Suppliers are responsible for delivering electricity from power plants to your home. The cost of delivering electricity to your home is included in the electricity plan and your electric bill. The provider passes through the delivery fees to the Utility Supplier.
